Rent a Car in Baltimore

The Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Federal Hill are all walkable or a short rideshare apart, and a short trip focused on Baltimore's harbour district doesn't strictly need a car. But Baltimore sits right at the crossroads of a wider region: Washington D.C. is about 45 minutes south, Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay waterfront are 30 minutes south-east, and Philadelphia is roughly two hours north-east — all realistic day trips or extensions with your own transport.

Baltimore–Washington International (BWI) is also one of the more convenient airports for visiting the wider Mid-Atlantic, often with easier access and better hire car rates than airports directly serving D.C. For a trip combining Baltimore, D.C. and Annapolis in a single itinerary, picking up your car here is a practical starting point.
